a Wise man told me
to never trust what you don’t know
never trust what grows in the dark
Don’t take part in the wine tasting scene
For what grows in the dark would never find the light
he lives in the shadows
only leaving marks for moments
never to be forever
if he tried… he’d cry
his heart is forever cold
never really being able to love
just attempting to live
forgive and forgive
but he takes no apologies
he’ll bring you to edge of where the light meets
and unclasp your hand
to where you can expand
to where you can swore
the wise man once said
that what grows in the dark
doesn’t look for the light
but to just help those that visit the shadows
into finding the path thats right
