In the Name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Most Merciful. I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, that The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad is His Exalted Christ and that The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is Their Divine Servant, Warner and Guide.
Prior to joining the Farrakhan Twitter Army, I was new to Twitter, and I didn’t understand how it worked. I rarely logged into my account. However, when I learned that The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan was on Twitter, I started logging in to see what he was tweeting. I learned how to add his account to receive text alerts whenever he tweeted.
At that time, I wasn’t retweeting because I was still new to Twitter. I would just get his alert, read them and move on. It wasn’t until I saw something regarding a special conference call for the Farrakhan Twitter Army, hosted by Bro. Jesse. At first, I thought I was too old for tweeting and such. But I wanted to learn more, so I joined the conference call. Bro. Jesse explained what the FTA was for and that if we didn’t know how or what to tweet, just to retweet anything that he or any other FTA members tweeted. So that’s what I did at first.
Locally in Miami, Bro. Artium Muhammad held a social media workshop to teach us how to use social media and learn more about Twitter in particular. When the first volume of The Teachings 2.0 came out during Saviours’ Day 2014, I tweeted that I had my book and was reading it while waiting for my flight. Bro. Jesse later visited Muhammad Mosque 29 in Miami, and he signed my book.
I was so inspired by what he shared with us about the importance of using social media to help spread the Minister’s words of guidance, warning and inspiration. Bro. Jesse also helped me to understand that I am never too old to use modern technology when it comes to helping our Beloved Minister.
Bro. Jesse is an example of how Allah will use you in a way that you would not imagine to serve His Purpose. I thank Allah for him for being a helper to The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. May Allah continue to bless him and his family.
Love, peace and blessings,
Sister Renata Muhammad
